KOA NEWS SERVICE (January 15, 2015) – The Olympic Peninsula/Port Angeles KOA Campground was recently honored for its improvement in guest service scores at the Kampgrounds of America International Convention in Charleston, South Carolina.

The campground, owned and operated by Martin and Lalana Adickes, were honored as one of two “most improved” campgrounds in the area of service scores received from guests staying at the campground. The other campground recognized was the Tulsa/Will Rogers Downs KOA in Oklahoma.

“We had two very different campground operations with one very same result,” said KOA Senior Vice President Jef Sutherland. “They both increased the service to their guests through hard work. They have taken a very low guest Net Promoter Score and raised it substantially, to a level that warrants this and other awards.”

Kampgrounds of America is celebrating its 53rd Anniversary in 2015. KOA, the world’s largest network of family-friendly campgrounds with 485 locations in North America, was born on the banks of the Yellowstone River in Billings, Montana in 1962. For more information, go to www.KOA.com.
