KOA Come Camp & Care With Us Event Sets New Records

More than 14,500 families registered to camp May 11-12 at 370 participating KOAs in the U.S. and Canada. Those families received a free night of camping on Saturday, May 12. That number topped the previous record of 13,800 reservations set during the 2006 event. The reservations this year resulted in a total of 34,500 camping nights, a 23% increase, at KOAs during the Friday-Saturday weekend.

KOA Kampgrounds Joins Forces With Circus Circus Las Vegas

KOA’s familiar yellow sign will soon appear on the famous Las Vegas Strip. Kampgrounds of America has signed a 10-year lease with the Circusland RV Park in conjunction with the Circus Circus Hotel, Casino and Theme Park. This agreement positions KOA with one of the largest camping resorts in the United States. The new Las Vegas KOA at Circus Circus will begin serving campers on December 1, 2003.
